TIYAS KING DROPS A TEASER FOR THE BEST MUSIC VIDEO SWAZILAND HAS EVER SEEN!!

 

 

2 successful albums later, it is only for Tiyas King's 3rd studio album that he releases his 1st ever music video. This is a result of his firm belief in keeping your artistic material to yourself and only present it to the world once it is ready to complement and compete with the best in the world. Quite frankly, this is the only way we will ever get a chance to truly represent Swaziland on international stages, through merit, not mercy.

 

The elegant and sophisticatedly coordinated music video was for Tiyas King's first single titled "Laws Of Attraction". The single is the first off his upcoming album titled "Hello Sunshine" which will be released at a date soon to be announced, Sub Jamz has orchestrated this project to be a legacy solidifying offering. Best believe that!

 

Over and over again we have seen that the universe operations under the law of attraction, which states that people and their thoughts, are both made from pure energy, and that like energy attracts like energy. With that in mind, we have crossed boarders, searched for the exquisite of all mansions, picked and pealed rose petals, brought out the finest lead lady & HD cameras on set to produce a record breaking, sophisticatedly simple yet classy music video the world has ever seen.

#MyKryptonite Drops 17 October 2013!!!

He was birth into the industry with “Love Chronicles” in 2007 and affirmed his position as Swaziland’s R&B King in 2011 with “Lies The Truth”. Tiyas has painted a vivid picture of the success that comes with staying in your own lane.

That is when you will appreciate the significance of his choice of words.

The Hero Superman represents the upmost pinnacle of super strength. Known as the man of steel, he is indestructible, Faster than a speeding bullet, he flies, he shoots red hot lasers out of is eyes, sees through anything, can blow winds out of his mouth and nostril stronger than tornadoes, he can hear a pin drop from miles away, and of course, he has super strength. As the comic would have it, Superman derives his powers from earth’s yellow sun. His only weakness, fragments of the core of his former planet Krypton, called Kryptonite. When exposed to this element, Superman is robbed of his powers, becoming an ordinary man, WEAK! Within the mythos, Kryptonite is the ultimate natural weakness of Superman. In popular culture, this element is the Achilles Heel, namely, the one weakness of an otherwise invulnerable hero.

The song “My Kryptonite” merely borrows this concept to express the simple realization that, IVE TRIED TO MAINTAIN MY SUPER POWERS AS A MAN, AND NOT FALL IN LOVE, IVE TRIED TO REMAIN LEVEL HEADED AND NOT LOOSE COMPOSURE, BUT, BABY YOU, YOU ARE THE ELEMENT THAT HAS WEAKENED ME ENOUGH TO BRING ME TO MY KNEES AND SAY I LOVE YOU.”

 

This is a song that brings to fore, the battle in every man properly so called, to fight for their independence and singlehood. The super hero in the song, after being exposed to his Kryptonite, declares, he is no super man at all, BUT EVEN IF HE WAS, SHE’D BE HIS KRYPTONITE…
